Another successful fund-raising year

January 21, 2018

During the Summer months of 2017, the Friends of St Denys have held a series of ' Cars and Bikes with Character ' meetings at the Village Hall. The idea of an informal 1st Sunday Breakfast Club has proved very popular with classic vehicle owners, and on 2nd December a cheque for £4000 was presented to churchwarden Kate Abrahams to help fund essential repairs to the church.

Further funds have been generated from a Quiz Night, Barn Dance, and concerts by ' The Ensemble of Friends' and ' The Orpheus Choir of North Herts'. Those proceeds will be donated to the church early in the New Year.

The Friends of St Denys will continue organising events in 2018 and hope you will support us in our efforts to raise money towards the church restoration fund.
